Extech 407730 Digital Sound Level Meter Offers

The Extech 407730 is a reliable method of carrying out an evaluation of the levels of noise in an environment. It's ideally suited for product noise certification and reduction and many other applications such as in music, alarm systems, and monitoring that workplace machinery is operating within safe hearing parameters and allows you to determine whether ear protection must be supplied.

The device is suitable for use in a lot of different applications thanks to the in-built 40-130dB measuring range of this sound level meter. 40dB is a level around a whisper and a normal conversation, while 130dB is around the level of a jet engine, so that's a pretty versatile range. All measurements are taken within ±2dB with a resolution of 0.1dB.
