Inside Micrometers are used to measure the inside diameter of an object such as a tube. Compared to other bore-measuring instruments, such as bore gauges, telescoping gauges, small hole gauges, etc, inside micrometers have excellent accuracy and ease of reading. 

The Insize 3220-30 Inside Micrometer 5 - 30 mm is easily adjusted for the side movements of the jaws, and it features a ratchet stop that provides a consistent pressure during the measuring process and ensures that the measurement results are repeatable.
